Chiropractic Care
Millions of people all over the world rely on chiropractic care to help them function normally and do the things they love to do.
What is Chiropractic Care?
Chiropractic care focuses on the treatment and prevention of disorders related to the spine, pelvis, joints and nervous system. It is a non-invasive, hands-on, natural therapy.
There are tons of reasons to see a chiropractor:
- Back pain
- Neck pain
- Headaches
- Arthritis
- Strains and sprains and other injuries
- Limited range of motion and/or pain in the back, shoulder, neck, arms or legs
- General health and well-being
Who are Chiropractors?
Chiropractors in Ontario are primary care practitioners. They are well trained to come up with and execute comprehensive treatment and management plans. Chiropractors are also able to recommend therapeutic exercises and other non-invasive therapies. Chiropractors can even provide nutritional, dietary and lifestyle counselling if needed.
Chiropractors are officially Doctors. There are only 5 classes of health care professionals in Ontario that are able to use that title! Chiropractic care is regulated by provincial statute and each province has their own regulatory college, established by legislation just like other health care professions.
What happens during a Visit to the Chiropractor?
The Chiropractor will ask you questions to determine your health history and overall current health. This makes it possible for them to provide the very best treatment possible for your individual needs.
Their first order of business will be to try and relieve your pain. Once that is accomplished your chiropractor can begin to correct more severe and/or recurring issues and support and maintain your pain-free condition!

I've seen a Chiropractor for a year now, on a weekly basis. Not only does my back feel better but I no longer get so many headaches, constipation, PMS or joint pain in my knees and wrists! The spine is the center of life, when it's free to flow... you're whole body will feel better! Trust me, I've experienced it first hand!
